Ethic Rules
1- Editorial boards consist of members from different nations. In editorial boards, editors from one nation can participate up to a maximum of 50% for first year. At the end of the 3rd year, this rate will reduced to below 20%.
2- Individuals in editorial boards are selected from experts in their field, with numerous publications in high-impact journals and receiving numerous citations from high-impact journals.
3- Persons involved in journal management processes (editors, editorial boards, and copyright owners) cannot publish articles in the journal.
4- Up to 20% of referees in each issue can be from one nation. At the end of the first year, uploaded articles will not be sent to referees who have/may have a conflict of interest (same nation, rival nation, co-authorship history, etc.).
5- A maximum of 12 issues can be published in the journal(s) within one year.
6- A maximum of 50 articles can be published in each issue of the journal(s).
7- Articles with unrelated content, where the establishment of relevance is not possible, or those written by authors who only write the article or conduct simple statistical analysis will be rejected without undergoing the peer-review process.
8- When the journal is turn in to paid service the fees to be charged are determined according to the "per capita national income" annually announced by the United Nations and the World Bank, divided into five groups. These groups are: 1) High-income group, 2) Upper-middle-income group, 3) Middle-income group, 4) Lower-middle-income group, and 5) Low-income group. Academics working in institutions in these income groups are charged 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% of the fee, respectively, based on their income level.
9- A 5% discount is given to academics who serve as referees within the journal for each refereeing.
10- Referee reports are published in each issue, either named or anonymous, depending on the referees' request.
11- Referee lists are published at the end of the year if the number of referees is below 50 or after each issue if the number of referees is 50 or more.
12- The peer-review process is carried out through a double-blind method. The author is unaware of the referee, and the referee is unaware of the author.
13- From the moment the article is uploaded to the system; the editor's response takes 15 days, the managing (field) editor's response takes 15 days, the initial referee process takes 30 days, the post-referee editing process takes 30 days, and if necessary, the second and subsequent referee and editing processes take 15-15 days each.
14- The journal's publication language is English. Articles must be written in fluent and error-free language. Language editing may be requested before or after the peer-review process if the language usage is deemed inappropriate.
15- A plagiarism report must be submitted when uploading articles.
Plagiarism Policy
Foriture of Agriculture journal adopts the following plagiarism policy, prioritizing scientific integrity and ethical standards:
Plagiarism Assessment: All articles submitted to our journal will be subjected to evaluation for plagiarism starting from its first issue (June 2024, Volume: 1, Issue: 1).
Determination of Similarity: Authors are required to use appropriate plagiarism detection programs (such as iThenticate and Turnitin) to determine the similarity status of their articles before submitting them to our journal.
Similarity Rate Limit: The journal pays careful attention to ensuring that the similarity rate in the articles does not exceed 20%.
High Similarity from a Single Article: In the event that an article has a similarity rate of 3% or higher from another source, the article will be returned to the authors.
Action Steps: In cases of plagiarism detection, the journal management will take the necessary steps and act in accordance with moral and ethical standards.
Author Notification: Any detected instance of plagiarism in the articles will be communicated to the authors in detail, and necessary corrections or explanations will be requested.
Article Return: Articles that do not comply with the defined similarity rates and policy criteria will be returned to the authors and will not be published without the necessary corrections.
